This company is seeking a Data Modeler, Data Scientist, or Data Programmer to assist our Software and Data Services team in developing programs supporting environmental modeling and risk assessment.
This is a mid-level position. Primary duties will include working as part of a team to design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications supporting the companies engineering staff and clients with scientific codes and tools for data management, processing, and visualization.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- At least two years’ experience with federal contracts.
- At least five years’ experience with private contracts.
- Certification as a data professional (CDP, CBIP, ICCP, or similar).
- An aptitude for acquiring new languages.
- Demonstrated command of Python, R, SQL, and Perl.
- At least 10 years’ experience as a Data Architect or Database Administrator.
- 5 – 10 years of Environmental/Mining Industry Experience.
- Demonstrated command of PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Must be able to encode and customize mathematical models.
- A college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
