[Per SSA website]- During a Trial work period (TWP), a beneficiary receiving Social Security disability benefits (SSDI) may 'test' their ability to work for at least 9 months and still be considered disabled. During a Trial work period, a person will still receive full Social Security benefits and health insurance, regardless of how much is earned, as long as, they report work activity.
