Lisa Seeley – Work at Home Journey: Featured on Disability.gov*
March 2014
Lisa Seeley is a Work-at-home Job Counselor with Employment Options and also a person with a hidden disability. Lisa, in her role as a vocational counselor, uses her own personal journey to help others learn about Ticket to Work and returning to the workforce.
Lisa understands the many obstacles and fears that people receiving SSDI or SSI face when returning to work. Her journey is one of great courage, determination and hard work.
Lisa was recently contacted by the popular website, Disability.gov,* to write a blog about about her journey in the Ticket to Work program. We are very proud of Lisa and her continued successes and personal growth. She chooses to use her own story and compassion as a way to educate others and give them hope and encouragement!
