POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for welcoming visitors and clients by greeting, directing and announcing them appropriately.  Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.  Receiving and sorting daily mail.

KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to Manager, SVP or Officer.
Works closely with Insurance Agents and clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Greeting and welcoming guests and clients.
  • Make guest and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
  • Answering the phones, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls or redirect as appropriate.
  • Receiving and sorting the daily mail.
  • Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, preparing documents.
  • Understanding of insurance products offered.
  • Utilize EZLynx system to gather information on clients and enter information for agents
  • Maintain confidentiality with all client and prospect information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Good people skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
  • Give accurate information.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma and or equivalent.
Customer-oriented approach is essential.
